The 2022 Annual Meeting is heading south to Austin, TX, in a suburb west of the city, called Bee Cave. The 52nd annual meeting is a planned in-person gathering at the lovely Sonesta Bee Cave hotel, located in the area’s Hill Country.

The theme for the 2022 meeting is “Maternal and Placental Metabolism and Influences on Fetal Development.” Invited internationally renown speakers across the disciplines of reproductive and perinatal basic science, obstetrics and pediatrics, will focus on how maternal health and pathologies in pregnancy affect maternal metabolism, placental function and ultimately, fetal development and neonatal health.

2022 PRS President, Laura D. Brown, MD, described the focus for the Annual Meeting, “Our speakers and topics all support the top priority of the PRS – to have attendees leave the meeting with invigorated passion for perinatal science, new ideas for their research, and new connections and collaboration with colleagues through the PRS. “

Welcome from PRS President Laura D. Brown, MD

Meeting Location: Bee Cave, Texas – Just West of Austin!

Plan to attend the 2022 PRS Meeting in Bee Cave, TX – named for the Mexican honeybees that were discovered in the banks (and caves) of two nearby creeks more than 150 years ago. Thirty minutes west of Austin, Bee Cave offers warm weather, numerous gourmet dining options and plenty of walking and hiking trails in the surrounding Hill Country. A short drive can also have you in Austin where live music and even more dining options can be found.
